Spell friendly fire damage calc
Something is wrong with either descriptions of abilities or damage calculation for spell FF. I have 3 magic items providing 10% magic res each, 23% ward save and selfish perk which is supposedly reduces FF damage on myself by 90% and with all that I still pretty much hit myself for full damage.

Bonus meme: chillwind always hits me while I'm on horseback, possibly 20% aoe career perk for spellsingers has something to do with it.

Do keep in mind magic resistance does not mean all magic, only the spells that do magic type damage.

I'd have to check for myself, which spells did you try? And which career?

I tried chillwind, fireball and cinder blast, which is magic, fire and physical damage respectively, I have a bit over 180 hp and fireball almost one-shots me, chillwind and cinder blast do about half. Here's my setup: https://i.imgur.com/7NtWYrR.jpeg
