Issues with Late-Midgame Repeating Crashes
Hello,

I am having issues with a repeating crash after letting the game run for about 30 seconds after my last save. The game is just idling on the campaign map and then crashes.

I have had the same issue happen with 2 playthrough in Shokuho before this. The game starts to run slow and then just hits a repeating crash.

TOR was extremely stable up until this crash. Only crashing 2 times before this crash.

Shokuho, many many many crashes but restarting the game would always allow me to keep playing.

Is this just a limitation of Bannelord? After the player gets about to founding their own kingdom the game can't run anymore and runs into a hard crash? Is there a memory leak or save corruption or hard memory limit these saves are hitting?

It's been extremely devastating losing each playthrough on characters I was enjoying and never getting to experience running my own kingdom because it's always right at that point.

Any help with be appreciated. Even though I'm loving Bannerlord so far, TOR and Shokuho are absolutely amazing and I'm having a great time. If this is a known limitation of Bannerlord I don't have it in me to keep rolling the dice on when a repeating crash will occur.

Thanks!

Try downloading the mod better exception window, if you crash with BEW save that in the BEW popup and share it so we can take a look

Thanks for the reply!

I just did a "Verify Integrity of Game Files" to make sure it wasn't that. All files validated.

Downloaded that mod - Here are the first three things it said:

- Inner Exception

Is that what you needed or something else from better exception window?

I also tried clicking the 'Attempt to continue' button. No luck.

That could be the issue if the travel time takes longer then a day, there's a current issue where the party is left without anyone in charge of our custom troops and causes a crash because that party is leaderless, if you change them when nearby, its not an issue

Thank you. That fixed it, kinda. Still crashed but the better exception mod was able to ignore it and continue.

I decided to reload and disband the party then reform it with the new lord. Worked fine, no crashes or issues.

Are there any known crashe like that one with the player forming their own kingdom and giving their companions fiefs to turn them into lords? Hoping to pre-emp any issues haha
