Donating items to shrines

So i have gotten the "offering" in the faith tree and i have given stuffs to a shrine to sigmar and i dont get any faith? do i need to donate specific items? or is broken?

Its not specific items, but the lower the items tier and value, the less exp you get.

Thank you :) And if you ever doubt about the exp gain of donated items, make sure you keep an eye on the total exp you already have before donating in the character screen and check again after
