My Empire Wizard Companion Cannot Learn Adept Spells?
I tried to ask this on the Discord, but I cannot claim the account because it says "E-Mail-Address already registered", but I can neither change to my older account which is shown bottom left (?). So I'm asking here:

I (Bright Wizard) have a Gold Wizard (Spellcraft 107) and a Celestial Wizard (Spellcraft 103) as companions. The Gold Wizard can learn adept spells, the Celestial Wizard not, it says unsufficient level. I cannot explain this, could it be a bug or are there some rules I do not know?


BTW I had also a strange event (in an otherwise unproblematic playthrough) this afternoon, in a battle against Beastmen Raiders on a bridge near Kemperbad castle. There was no terrain after loading, the screen was entirely black, only the symbols of my troop groups were seen. It was not darkness, but absence of the landscape. Tried loading three times, but with the same effect, in the end I had to auto-resolve.

Visit an arenamaster and reset their spellcraft, then redo the perks, that should fix it.

You say it was absence of a landscape, but did you try ordering your troops anyway?

Great, after resetting at the Arenamaster now all works well with the wizards, thank you. :)

To the other thing, no troops were visible after loading the map, just the boxes left and right and the box markers for the troops on the "field" (in the middle of a black screen). I'd wish I could upload a screenshot to show how it looked.
