Does anyone know how to change the waywatcher player character code ?
Does anyone know how to change the waywatcher player character code so they can get magic? It just doesn't make any sense to me how an elf can be thousands of years old and have not learned how to cast even one or two basic spells. Personally I think every kind of character should be able to get spells and most things really. That is kind of the point of an open world sandbox. I can see stuff like some armors and weapons being raced locked sure but otherwise for the most part let players do whatever they want. It is on the player to make their character as op or as weak as they want to.
Just and idea for the developers if you wanted to add a gold sink you could just add books that would unlock magice and battle prayers for the classes that you didn't want to have them. That way you can still build your mod more or less however you wanted and at the same time letting the players get that stuff if they wanted to. I would say anywhere from 100K to 1M gold would be fair for those kinds of books.
Not trying to rag on your guys mod I do like it really good mod truly it is. It is just a few small things like this that kind of make it feel a little less sandboxy is all.

Sorry but no, not all careers have access to magic, thats simply how the warhammer world works. You're fine to disagree but then maybe this universe isnt for you.
No need to say sorry bro it's your guys mod not mine. You guys are the one in charge of it. I was just throwing out an idea to try and make both sides happy was all. My main question anyways was just seeing if anyone could tell me how modify my waywatcher was all.

I'm not sure you can with just editiing xml files, i'd have to ask to verify.
If you can that would be awesome thank you.
Same question here would like to be able to add some magic in my waywatcher playthrough just for the fun of it !!!

There is no way to add magic with editing files, you can cheat it through a console command starting with tor. , but since we never really tested this, we can't guarantee its not going to corrupt your save file, so use at your own discretion, and if you do run into issues, we can't help you
