Bug? Companion chillwind spell across map?
It seems like my countess companion is using chillwind (dark magic) across the map oneshotting large chucks of enemy forces without any possible counter play. Funny in the beginning but becomes stale very fast. She also appears to be using this ability in random directions when the infantry lines are clashing, oneshotting my own troops as collateral damage.

Is this a known bug or a feature?

I only have Harmony + "The Old Realms" mods installed.

Thanks for your help.

AI isnt limited to the same casting range as the player, currently this is how it works, yeah. Although chillwind shouldn't do that much damage

Actually, it's probably almost all spells. I just start a battle, and after 10 seconds, suddenly a bunch of my army goes "Arrrghhh". Then, in the next 10 seconds, my army goes "Aaaaaaahhhgg"

EDIT: I'm not sure anymore if it's only one or more. I just died, and I didn’t see how

How to deal with that?

You can get some spell reduction perks in spellcraft if a caster, if melee user try to take them out as fast as you can or get cannons/mortars

The most effective way I’ve found to deal with it so far is to either simulate the battle or avoid any dark magic users. A bunch (10~20) of army die after 10 seconds of battle... Me included

I really do like everything about the mod except for the unlocked spell range for AI. Sadly, this takes away a lot of the magic (pun intended) the mod has to offer imo.

Will be giving it another go once this has been addressed.

Not something that can really be adressed without overhauling the AI system

But why is it just with this spell? The others seem fine. The AI understands this one as arrow/bolt range, while it interprets the others as stone range.
