Q is the key for casting though, not quick casting ? Or am i misunderstanding

For example, I set "equip next weapon" to R, but after pressing "Quick Cast Selection Menu" or "Quick Cast," it will also cause the new key binding for "equip next weapon" R to become invalid.

Anyway, whatever i set to "equip next weapon", it will always be reset to mouse scroll up, if i use "Quick Cast Selection Menu" or "Quick Cast"

no, If I don't use "Quick Cast Selection Menu" or "Quick Cast," in combat, the "equip next weapon" hotkey won't be reset to mouse scroll up(default)

Hello guys, I am running into this issue as well. I originally had "E" and "Q" to select the weapon/shield instead of scrolling the MMB. When I use the spells in combat, the mod resets my keybindings to scrolling up and down for weapon/shield. Thank you for looking into it.

Adding on, I did some tests and the keybinds reset after the battle is over. Even if I change the keybinds back to "E" and "Q" after the mission has ended, it does not save. Starting a new battle will reset it too. This is weird because I don't remember this issue during the Knights and Saints update. It appears this new update to the mod caused this.

What are you playing as ? Vampire or something else ?

I was playing as a human, with the career ability "let them have it". I ran some tests in custom battle with the empire lord with the artillery skill, glade lord, and bright wizard with the fire spells because they all had more than 1 weapon for me to switch and test. Its the same thing, I don't think it matters what spell or race you are, the key bindings reset regardless.

Are all your tests in custom battles or on campaign aswell ?

I was playing as a human in campaign/regular mode, and did tests in custom battle with the other races
