Companion Magic bug

I'm having a problem with teaching my companions higher level spells.

All 4 of them are above 100 Spellcraft, but can't be taught Adept spells.

They range from level 14 to 23 character level.

They are all unable to learn at a magister, and it says in the spellbook "Insufficient caster level".

Talk to an arena master and reset their spellcraft, then redo their perks
