Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

The Old Realms - Core (Season of Doom)
AI casting
Is there any way to currently turn off friendly spell damage? I very much like being in the fight but my countesses one shot me with their spells alongside large portions of the enemy.

This... i need this i gave up on this mod because of this.... AI magic is to powerful, I cannot join an army with magic because if i do as im assaulting walls or in melee with my army, a FRIENDLY AI will just nuke 40-50 of my units every fight

No there is not, and there are no plans for it either.

Magic is devastating, for both parties if not managed well.

How would one "manage" friendly AI using spells? I assume you mean just unlearning the spell per fight?

Or tell them to stop casting if your own companions / commander of the army.

Yeah...that only works if they are your companions. or you are the commander. most of the time when you join an army. You are not the commander. so it just means you cannot help in aiding your own faction.

I'm not going to disagree the AI needs some work, but we will never make magic completely risk free, sorry. Its far too potent for that.

You can mod it, and it is very simple to do. Look in the tor_triggeredeffects.xml file.

Yeah nothing should be risk free i agree with that, but the risk assessment needs something, if an AI thinks the risk of killing 30 friendly to get 5 enemys is a "good risk assessment" somethings off

Either way Mods great other than this, keep up the great work.
