Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

The Old Realms - Core (Season of Doom)
Character with Twohander - What to Expect?
I only played with magic and guns till now. While guns are quite weak compared to magic, being a melee char on foot seems almost useless and a waste. Maybe I'm wrong. However I found using a greatsword in tournaments quite funny, although my sorceress always got gutted in the end, of course. So I'm thinking.

What are the career offers for twohander use, f.e. as Empire or Wood Elf (Wardancer?)? Is it possible at the end to slice through blocks and through several foes at once?

(BTW I find it a bit annoying that you cannot buy any affordable twohanded weapon in the early stages of the game.)

Any 2h axe and mace can hit multiple opponents at once, thats part of bannerlord.

But no there's no slice through although we might be interested in doing that in the future.

Ok, thank you for the clarification. Then I will wait, and throw around magic so long.

That axes (despite the small head with deeper penetration, prone to get stuck) and maces (how should they even do multiple hits???) can hit several persons, but swords (with a long cutting blade) cannot, is one of the marvellous features of BL I not really want to think about ...

BTW is that hardcoded? Can it be added to twohanded swords? Probably not, I assume.

I think it is yes, but that doesnt mean melee oriented careers are not fun atm, on discord many seem to like the blood knight bloodline and the warrior priests aswell, there's also the mousillok knight or bretonnian knight and the merc career has a unique perk to upgrade high tier troops into companions

It can. There is slice through everything mod.

Interesting. Slicing through several persons is absolute bonkers of course from the sense of reality and I would never use it in normal BL (I avoid twohander axes and maces for this reason), but in a magical fantasy environment like TOR it seems great to me. I assume that the current mod does not work with TOR?

Edit: No, it does not. And don't try Xorberax Legacy with TOR, it crashes and after removal it does need to load again TOR core and build the shader cache. Which in my case only needs 5 minutes respectively 30 seconds each, but with some computers may need a lot more of time.

Steal it from warrior priest or Grail Knight companion.

No, I generally don't take stuff from companions. And the weapons are too good for a beginner. I cheated me a cheap twohanded axe instead.

I saw 2handers in empire cities, VC cities and got some from the loot.

Blunderbus with grenades is pretty insane imho (on merc).

As a 2h footman it sucks because it sucks in Bannerlord in general for a lot of reasons.
I tried it in Bannerlord a lot of times and it was torture.

In Tor it should work with Von Carstein I guess
He can close the distance, retreat, heal and has HP bonuses and magic for ranged resistance.

Blunderbuss with grenades is a short enjoyment as you have 5 in a stack, so 15 if you dare not to carry another weapon. For that the damage of a grenade is too low for my taste. I put it to 200 for testing, that was a bit better. Maybe you get more ammo per stack and higher damage in the Merc career? Did not make one yet.

As merc you have talents for +ammo
In gunpowder line you have perk for +ammo +5 and +10
And you have +50% ammo on gunpowder 150 i guess.

Cant remember exact number but you have plenty of ammo on granade launcher.

You are right, I forgot the lvl 100 Gunpowder perk, giving +50% ammo to all. At lvl 100 I took the additional point in Discipline because I'm mainly a mage.
