And all workshop mods are located in the workshop folder.
The application faced a problem. We need to collect necessary files to fix this problem. Would you like to proceed.
I get the same error both while trying to compile the shaders or character creation.
Also none of the mod files appear in the "modules" folder, not even the harmony mod.
When I go into the properties of any of the dll files there is no "unblock" checkbox.
Should I try downloading both the mod and harmony from moddb or something and extract and install manually?
And if the error does not say anything about dll, then its not a dll issue.
Is your load order correct? not using any other mods?
-Step 2-
Navigate to your Bannerlord installation folder and go into the Shaders->D3D11 folder by….
… navigating in the explorer to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord
OR
…. right click Bannerlord in Steam->browse files-> Shaders\D3D11 )
Inside that folder, you should see a file called compressed_shaders_cache.sack, delete that as well.
No worries, I am not on discord, but I am next going to try to uninstall and reinstall of the game. See if I can get at least the base vanilla game working again before I try anything else.
Load order is simple, with only four boxes checked.
Harmony
Armory
Environment
core.
But since the game is currently just showing me either a black or white screen with the mouse pointer and sounds in the background even on "safe" mode. There are some serious issues.
Thanks for the assistance and the great mod you are working on.
I will have to try that tomorrow, I am reinstalling the game and the internet here in Australia is stone aged.
I was having the black or white screens with both the mod and vanilla.
Nope, after 2 days trying to fix it, I ended up uninstalling the mod and just playing the base game again.
I did later find when my bios was reset by a faulty windows update, that I have one of those K- series CPUs that has a 50% fail rate.
Oh that's sad. While for me I found my issue. It was because like I cleaned install new bannerloed just to play the mod... So I didn't launch the base game yet. I directly launch the mod which caused it to crash, bcz the My program file for bannerloed didn't get created (need to launch vanilla game once).
Anyways after that I close and run the mod and everything worked fine. I hope you get to try the mod one day bro, it's rlly good ;)
I was playing the mod before they updated it and it worked fine so I know how good it is.
I am in the process of getting a new CPU because the tech who built my system refused to honour either his build warranty or the extended intel warranty for the K-series chips. I believe it was my CPU because I am getting similar issues on MANY games now.
I am not sure, on one hand I don't want a "raptor lake" intel chipset. But living in a subtropical area means that AMD have serious cooling issues.
Anyway, good to hear that the mod is going strong, and I will be playing it again once my frequent crashing issues are resolved.
