Necromancer OP
Captured a Vampire Count city while playing as Asrai. The vampires immediately sent an army of 4500 undead against me and since I had 1300 in my army plus the 300 man garrison I decided to defend. I've won similar battles in BL. It can be quite fun to chase off a superior force from the safety of your fortifications.

not this time. Fastest battle I've ever seen in BL. Necromancers wiped out my entire force and the garrison in probably less than a minute. My character was killed before even getting off his horse. Here are the kills per necromancer:

711 warriors in my army were zapped in seconds by necromancers. Naturally my spellslinger didn't kill anyone. She was vaporized in seconds like the rest of us.

A bit overpowered?

yeah.. fighting the vampires feels like an insurmountable challenge, like im throwing rocks at Nagash himself

Spells is the only thing they have to actually do something since their troops are trash except vampire cav

Please don't think I am complaining. Maybe just pointing out the obvious. I love TOR and have been slowly working my way through each of the factions. Have played the Vampire Counts and been on the other side of the necromancer's devastating power.

In a way each kingdom has their pros and cons. Like you said, the VC's infantry, though numerous are trash. When they don't have a necromancer it's pretty easy to chew up their skeletons.

The Empire may be the most well rounded, with great cav, decent infantry, average archers, and their powerful cannons.

Right now am playing the Asrai and am loving their archers.
