cant find spouse or initiate marriage
I cant marry any of the female lords from the empire as there are none in brettonia, my clan has a total of 2 people in it one being a companion thats governing the other being me. Marriage is abviously a crucial part to the game and it would be a bummer if the mechanic is just not working in the mod, if im just doing something wrong pls help me out.

Not sure. Changing the whole mechanic to fit the mod would take atleast 6 months ( if even possible ), and that for a feature that is optional seems waste of time.

If you want a family you need two mods. Family Control (Pregnancy) and Marry Anyone. It works on 1.2.11 but the child is not born yet. I still need to play a little more for that.

How were you able to use these mods for marriage?

If you want to get married in The Old Realms, I found a loophole that works:
First of all go to nexusmods and download GUI Character Manager by Prozengan.
Add it to your modules, load up your current campaign then go to encyclopedia, at the bottom you should see two toggles Save & Load. Save your character and the character you wish to marry, then go to your user-name-documents-bannerlord-charactermanager and there you should see the character names.
When editing the files in notepad, make sure you change the person's age (I'd do body age as well) you wish to marry below 35 as to not bug the game out since you cannot marry in regular bannerlord after this age regardless. Make sure to save, and load their character in Encyclopedia when done.
Now onto your character, change your partner values like so: partnerActivated=true and then below that value is partnerName=(the person you wish to marry) add relation if you'd like below that as well.
Soon as you load your character in Encyclopedia, you shall be married to the person you chose.
Cheers, keep on marrying.

Well, here's to hoping they implement it so I can create the witch hunter family lineage I've always dreamed of :Hire:

That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Why disable it when you know people want to have their lineage fantasy...

I found a mod that you can do this with. It's on the nexus and it's called "Adopted Kin".

I know it works for adopting adults, just make sure the adopter is older than the adoptee. I can't speak if it will work on children.

I used it to adopt two vampires into my clan so I could get around companion limits to get some governors.

Because the vanilla mechanic doesnt fit in a warhammer universe and its hardcoded so can't mod it.

I might check this out if I decide to revisit the mod. The whole marriage and the ability to have a lineage being disabled killed the mod for me. Wtf were they even thinking...?

If you're going to do something, don't half ass it. Cheers.
