Opinions on current and future "Cave" sections
Please post your thoughts on the "cave" section of the current map. There are four ways I see to go about it right now, because it has recieved mixed feedback.

1. Keep the cave as it is (basically requiring the "action cam")

2. Remove the top ceiling objects so that players can still see into the cave, but if they go into "action cam" there will be a ceiling when looking out (Will probably look kind of glitchy)

3. Try to raise the sides high enough without messing up the cave and place the ceiling high enough so players can zoom in while using the normal view to see (Not sure if this will work as intended and having trouble figuring it out)

4. Remove ceiling altogether and make it a valley-like area instead.

Короче кто русский - или экшон камеру используем (на иконке героя внизу есть такая залупка) или зумим сильно, что бы камера оказалась над башней перса. В пещерах, кстати норм крипы и босс.

It's good idea. Just u need to use action cam, its not so hard.

I'd probably want it to be a Diablo-esque cave, where there isn't really an actual "roof" so that you can still see inside of it.

I'd definitely like #3, because you can only really go in there once you have a ton of farm and are confident you can wreck anything thats in there because you can't see your own health bar or the enemy health bars. Not to mention it makes exploring it kind of hard since it's way harder to move around.

Thank you for your feedback. In the most recent update, I made the top of the roof invisible, but tthe ceiling is still visible from the bottom (so only when you have the camera inside the cave). This is to appeal to both those who like the idea and don't. But it also makes the cave light like the rest of the map (getting rid of the dark atmosphere). I might change this back or something later, depending on how it works out.

In my opinion, you should remove the roof, but keep it as a cave because I like its look.
If possiable, keep the roof but make it invisable if your vamera is high enough.
Also, I think reducing the vision radius in the cave would make it feel more like the dark place it is.

He should probably work on balancing the map and start in general rather than doing any of that, such as giving some starting gold, increasing creep gold bounties so there is less farm, etc.

True, but the thread is talking about the cave part, not everything.

I think the dev should add a mountain on top of or near the cave with a big boss at the top (like a nerfed year beast) or the big pudge from wraith-night.
