I saw one of the first suggestions asking about using steam id’s or some such. I was wondering if it would be easier to add it to the Faction and allow users. In MP you create a faction,so that multiple people can enter your base/ safe zone area. It just gives them access by their name being on the list. There would not be a need to try and use id’s.
If a member leaves or is booted from the faction, his name is removed and therefore his gate access too. Each persons ingame name is different just like an I’d number is but without compromising or potentially compromising anything else. The controller would be linked to the faction panel. So no one would have to carry a remote in their possession. With an motion sensor they could just drive up and the gate opens automatically when the member comes in range of the sensor and closes once he passes the sensor inside.
