Bug Reports
In an attempt to keep the comment section a little more clear, I'm making this discussion to track bugs / issues with the mod.

The new mod doesn't have skulls and right-click interaction options, and the previous mod has, and while it still works, I'm afraid it will be outdated in the next few updates
Moreover, when the right-click interaction option selects the clan character, due to the new interaction options for the clan character, the mod option is partially moved to the bottom of the screen and cannot be selected (this is a problem encountered in the old version, and the new version can be ignored if it is solved)
Moving a new mod to the bottom of the episode doesn't work, and opening the mod alone doesn't work

You can try sending me your error log. The mod itself should definitely be working, if you're not getting either character interactions or the skull icon, it sounds like the mod is not loading at all.

Try un-subscribing and re-subscribing to the mod, make sure that the mod files are actually in the workshop content folder for crusader kings 3, you can compare the files found there to the files on github to confirm they are the right files.

Another issue could be that you are subscribed to the workshop mod, as well as have a local version of the mod in your Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mods folder. If you do have both, that will prevent either from loading properly, ensure you only have either the workshop version, or the manually installed version.

Feel free to continue seeking help here, I will try to help you troubleshoot.
After putting the old version of the mod in the recycle bin, the new version of the mod can be displayed, it seems that it is indeed as you said, thank you for putting effort into this matter, and it is also recommended that you leave a note on the mod introduction for this situation, although this situation is rare, but next time someone encounters this situation again, don't bother you, thank you again!

When I use Character Spawner for char's of any age, they have Good Traits but zero personality traits. I've played 3 generations of a dynasty over 3 days now, and happens every time, but never did before. Would you mind looking into this, please?

Do you have the no traits option checked? Only reason they should spawn with no personality traits, since it just disables them spawning with random traits.

Nope, the only boxes I have checked are Good Traits (Loyal, etc) and Pinned. They spawn with no Personality traits like Brave, etc--all 3 are blank, regardless of their age (child or adult).

When in an ironman game the debug mode button does not work. If i launch the game with debug already on then the button will turn off debug but then not turn it back on.

Tested this by launching a non ironman game and the button works perfectly fine.

So far, I'm unable to reproduce this. If you want to give me the exact steps to reproduce, I can check if I can get it to occur. Also, you could open console, type in explorer, change provider to Stories, find DI_misc_variables_story, and tell me if you see DI_char_spawner_no_traits under the script variables dropdown.

Well the debug mode button just sends a command to the console to toggle debug mode, since ironman mode disables console, it likely wouldn't work.

Thx for the instructions. I checked, and "DI_char_spawner_no_traits" doesn't appear under the script variables. But if this isn't a universal problem, I'll just live with it for this game.

If you are having specific problems with a save game, you can zip up the save game and send it to me, I can take a look at it.

Oddly enough, after I opened Script Variables and then reloaded my save game, the char spawn problem went away and they have traits now, so you did help, in a mysterious way. :)

Ah ha, I think I figured out what the problem is. Whenever your first character that you started the game with dies / you switch characters, you lose the variable that determines if your character should have random traits or not, which causes it to show up as a no in the chracter spawner options, which gives no random traits. You could have fixed this by toggling the no traits checkbox on and off, which regenerates the variable. I should have a fix in the next update.
