Crashes while speeding up time (5x).
Crashing consistently now, after about a minute at 5x speed. Here is a couple of logs and the save file, if that helps.

Thank you! Let me take a look and see what's happening. :2017stickycrab:

Appreciate the help, just hope I haven't done something silly to cause it.

I looked at the logs and ran the save for about 10-15 minutes at 25x speed (not moving around or anything, just hanging around the hub). I didn't seem to crash even at 25x speeds.

You can try turning off the "Generate Distant Towns" in your Graphics Menu, because of a few errors in the log. This is kind of hit or miss based on your computer specs and such.

Loaded mesh doesn't exist: distant_156.mesh
Loaded mesh doesn't exist: distant_351.mesh
Loaded mesh doesn't exist: distant_623.mesh
...etc, it's spammed a lot

The spam about "part map wrong color" is mostly fine, if anything it would just make someone's pants or whatever invisible (it's from the Community Part Map and associated mods on this list). One day I'll track down *what* outfit is causing the spam and patch it, but the logs are almost useless for that particular project lol

I'm not sure if you're quick loading (or just reloading saves) while already in game, but that can potentially cause "Corrupted Zone Data" which can cause random crashes.

You can try to manually clean the corrupted data in your save file, located at:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\kenshi\save

Quoting Shidan's Corrupt Zone Data Guide, linked below
Generally the corruption will be in one specific file, sometimes even a specific item in said file. But first we have to figure out which file the problem is in. The simplest method for this is similar to the mod testing we did before.

Start by deleting half of the zone files, then testing the save.

If it works, you know the issue was in the half you deleted, so copy the zone files back over from your back up save, and only delete half of what you deleted the first time.

If it still crashes, you know it's in the half still remaining. So delete half of the remaining files.

Repeat this process several times, and you should quickly narrow it down to an individual file. The save should work fine without said file even if all other files are still in the folder, and crashes if the file is still there.

~~~~~~~~
Below is a guide that can also help fix corrupted zone data:
Will try that now. So far I have made sure to only load the game from the main menu, I assume quick saving is ok while doing that.
Or maybe not looking at that guide.
Shot in the dark here but did you happen to update the RE_Kenshi mod? Developer pushed out an update at the same time this modlist was updated and it was causing crashes during my speedup they reverted back after others were having the same issue. It definitely fixed my speed up crashes once I went back to the previous version.
Looks like I might have the file that was removed. Will try the new one in a min.
Well, installing the stable version of Re kenshi seems to have stopped the crashes. Thank you so much to both of you for the help. Fixed the issue and learned a lot about keeping the game stable with safe saving. You both rock.
Thank you for the information! :2017stickycrab:
I didn't know that 🙀 I, for the most part, kinda skip RE_Kenshi updates lol
Also, for future reference, quick saving / auto saves are perfectly fine. I strongly recommend it actually lol (since Kenshi can randomly crash).
The issue arises when you "Quick Load" (or worse, click "New Game" lol) while already in game. This can cause data that is streaming in/out as you roam around to get corrupted. It's due to the way the game was designed; it can happen in Vanilla Kenshi, but with mods it's a lot more common (just more data and such).
I recommend quitting out of the game entirely if you want to reload a save. It's slightly inconvenient, but it mostly eliminates the possibility for corruption.
The game loads up fast enough with this collection that it's probably not that big of a deal, in my opinion lol :cactusrum::beeped:
