thanks
I have been enjoying this immensely with my partner in Co-op on Legendary difficulty. Unfortunately, we have been experiencing continuous desyncs during the end-turn phase when the AI is completing their turns. We have attempted 3 different playthoughs and each time there is a turn between turn 1-20 that will cause a desync that is difficult to get past. Sometimes we can pass a desyncing turn, but often times the next turn or the turn after will desync. This makes the game very tedious to play.
We are using numerous mods, but never had this issue until we used your Insane difficulty mod.
My suspicion is that the incredibly high activity of the AI is difficult for my partner's PC to calculate and sometimes falls behind 30 turns during end turn and will have to "catch up". I understand that this may be just an issue between our hardware, but I thought I would just ask if anything could be done on your end or if you had any suggestions.
This mod has a really breathed new life into our co-op play as the previous Legendary difficulty was much too easy for us.
Im very sad to hear that, desyncs can have plenty of reasons, it might be a hardware issue with the AI being to active overall, another reason could be maybe patches of mods changing the game aswell. in former total war games you could solve desyncs by exchanging the safefiles, did you give that a try? Another reason might be a script integrated in the mod I changed today, I could maybe also offer you a version without the script for a try, but thats all I can do I guess. In addition you could also try my improved AI mod on legendary, there is no script and its also more difficult than vanilla. I guess you are using right mod order both via mod manager?
Greetings André
Hi Andre,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I did try the save file exchange. I also just tested the improved AI mod your created and although the end turn phase was less choppy, it did desync as well but it was not tested as much as your Insane AI mod. I appreciate you offering a different version of the mod, but there is no need you've already done so much.
May I ask, if I were to use the Insane AI mod, where should I place this in the mod manager order?
Thank you I will try putting Insane AI at the top.
So I tested it today, even live on Twitch as Chaos Dwarves and I was at war with Ghorst, Gooldtooth, Karak Kadrin and another Ogre faction in beneath 20 turns, should be fixed, rather to many declerations I would even rather say cause it was way lower difficulty.
I was also playing Legion of Azgorh, so I consider it fixed then I guess.
