About OG Dynamic Traits
How is this related to Dynamic Traits?
If you're reading this you're probably wondering what's the deal with Evolving Traits World (ETW) and Dynamic Traits (DT). So first: this mod is not affiliated with DT in any way. It's written from the ground-up by me, with the help of the PZ modding community. No code was used from DT. The only relation is that they share a similar premise: make traits dynamic.

There's literally Dynamic Traits, why make another mod?
I feel like DT (now known in some instances as Dynamic Traits and Expanded Moodles) did not offer enough customization or any opting out of new features unrelated to traits. I can’t speak to the author’s plans, but it does not seem as though they want to make features sandboxed or optional, so I thought it'd be a good idea to expand and improve upon original mod.

From the DT workshop:
"Disclaimer: if you are looking for more traits for your game and you expect that and only that, then this mod is not for you."
"The old Dynamic Traits focus doesn't exist anymore, the mod will keep this way."

I wanted to make a mod that allows players to choose what is added to the game with many flexible sandbox options. This mod is the aftermath of my work :)

So do I run this or DT? Can I run both?
Well this greatly depends on what you want. DT adds a lot of new mechanics as well as making some traits dynamic. This mod is focused on making existing and new traits dynamic. Any new mechanics will ALWAYS have a submods or sandbox option for a tailored experience.

That being said, check the front page for mod conflicts. I can’t recommend running ETW and DT together. Most things won't conflict, but some traits tied to player weight probably will be weird :) . Choose whichever fits your preference and enjoy!
