FAQ: Mod not working after a game update?

If you notice that the mod suddenly has stopped working after a game update, what can you do to fix it? Try these simple steps!

Here are the steps:

1) Locate your Call to Arms - Gates of Hell installation and workshop folder. Usually, it's in X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750
X = your game's installation drive label, e.g. C, D, or E
400750 = Gates of Hell's Game ID in Steam

2) Go to the folder with this mod's ID 2912330498
Your windows explorer will now be:
X:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2912330498

3) Find the mod.info file inside the folder

4) Open it using a text editor (Yes, Notepad also works)

5) In the editor, locate the following lines:

{minGameVersion "1.043"} < current version listed in the mod.info as of 2024.8.8
{maxGameVersion "1.043"} < current version listed in the mod.info as of 2024.8.8

6) Change the numbering to the current game version OR any. It should look like this:

{minGameVersion "1.046"} < current version as of 2024.10.26
{maxGameVersion "1.046"} < current version as of 2024.10.26

{minGameVersion "any"} < doing any just makes it so any game version will ideally work
{maxGameVersion "any"} < doing any just makes it so any game version will ideally work

7) Save the edited mod.info file

8) Play the game and see if the mod works
