Some of the weapons melee bash animations send the weapon and player camera in different directions before snapping back. For example the SMG melee bash sends the weapon up while the player camera goes down, and the Battle Rifle sends the weapon to the left while the player camera goes right. There are more, but those are the only 2 I can remember off the top of my head.
