Oldschool Server for Oldschool players
Hey there,

I just wanted to ask if there is a possibility for you to bring back an older version of the mod without all that 1337-stuff...
There are many guys (including me) who loved this mod until version 2.59 when everything was fine and without all that OP-stuff, so it would be really nice to have a server for us guys running on version 2.59 so that we can play there.
To be honest since Version 2.6 this mod was getting laggier and less fun, maybe because of the many new stuff, idk and it always makes me angry to die these new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deaths, like death by invisible trebshot, death by saber-skirmisher running faster than MAA and slashing my back like mad, death by moronic teammates buying the flamesword and slashing me into the spikes...
So i just wanted to ask if it would be possible, to get at least one server back running at version 2.59, or a possibility to host version 2.59 at my own pc...

Older versions are gone.

I've heard that from wave 60 on or so it's getting laggy. I'll test if I can reproduce and fix that issue.

If u don't want to use some new items, u have to set up a password on a custom server and play with friends.

Special enemy types can be disabled by config.

I dont know where you are based, but NFOSERVERS is the best for north america, 6.50US, ELKO knows good ones for EUR.

I own the 'furries playing in the sand' (lol) server now, it's great, 30cents CAD a day to play with my buddies whenever we want.

I'm down for sharing it with you HSG guys and other vets such as brutal, we dont use donor weaps on the server. I think theyre awesome but i prefer the other weaps.

I wont disable the special enemies, I think its hilarious the panic induced by a jedi ^.^ Gets the ticker ticking, Elko you'd better get liability insurance lol.

If the ping works out good for you we could arrange to share the server cost too.
