Revival. We need it.
Hi. At high waves too often it remains a strong player alive. And the remaining nine dead . A strong player can win on this wave alone , killing 40-80 enemies , but it takes a very long time . So I think we need Revival . I do not know how to do it , but we need it . So it is necessary to discuss it .

Here's one example of how I see it. Where the killing player to appear some sign. For example flag. To revive that player, the player has to come alive and capture the flag for a specified time. As when specifying capture platform with the flags. It is possible that before the rebirth player must pay 100 points to start the Revival. Or buy in one of the boxes perk physician.

Good idea.
I see the issue too: one strong player playing for 15min alone when the rest can just watch is boring. On the other hand I want death to be a penalty and revival an exception.

1. the option should only be available when very vew survivors are left
2. a random player should be revived
3. the player should confirm if he wants to be revived to avoid respawning afk players

It should not require too much of work as the last few survivors sure have their hands full. But there should be a penalty like score loss or so. Mostly on the player to be revived but also for the survivor.

Now how should this work?

To be perfectly honest, I am torn about if having a revival is a good idea or not. I really only hear baddies complain for having to wait while a good player finishes. Someone tried to vote kick me once because I was the last person alive trying to win. I think the best way to do it is let the team decide whether that final person should call it quits or not...For example, yesterday, I was the last one alive and I knew I had no chance for several reason, so instead of running around for 45 minutes I just suicided (that's what EVERYONE wanted me to do on the team). I guess what i'm saying is there are other things i'd rather Elko implement to help players/gameplay than a revive...cough cough (**** trebuchets :steamsad: ).

I thought about how to implement the Revival in the War of the Roses . I do not agree that revives the random player . I think that should revives the best or the one chosen by the live player . Because novice immediately die . Certainly a dead player must confirm its Revival .

How do u want to pick a player while running from the horde?
I just think everybody should have the same chance to be revived no matter if the other players preferences. It could be like every dead player receives a prompt to respawn and the first one to hit the button gets spawned.

The point of this discussion is not how to figure out how to implement this but how it should work conceptually. What exactly should trigger the revival?

In the castle in some corner you can put a small altar with a fence that will need to burn by torches. What if a player has to run up to him and press the E ? I think that it should be available at all times. It is necessary to consider only the price . I think that the price of 500 points , and dropping to 50 health points will be enough to start.

To make it possible for the last survivor to respawn players he should just pay 20% of his total score.
The one respawning should pay 500 but without going to minus.

U agree?

Having the same gag twice with burning a fence with torches is boring.
If really nothing comes to mind it can be a plain purchase box.

I don't want it to be always available, especially not for such rather cheap price.
I think you need to unlock the number of respawns you can have per wave. Up to 3 respawns.
The reason is it doesn't make sense to respawn the player as a skelly because he needs to be able to fight properly. But that is huge advantage, that's why revivals must be restricted.

Any idea how to unlock respawns?

I think it should be an altar with three skulls per wave.
Teamkill = - 1 skull.
The price of revival - 500 points for each player. Who call and who will respawn.
Or 1000. It will be enough to compensate for the advantages.
To call you need to touch one of the skulls. It will change color from blue to red.
If anyone agree that the skull will disappear and will be charged for each 500 points (or 1000).
You can also add the mission of the Jedi, which is activated by any of the players after the 10 waves. After the mission appears the altar ...

The skulls of Crypts look good. When they r shiney they can be used.

Maybe at first the skulls r gone and appear when bought once. First skull cost 800, second 1500, third 2500.
