Chivalry: Medieval Warfare

Horde Sandcastle
Server melting and lag in later waves
We all know that once we get up in the 60's for waves, the pings and server starts to go a bit nuts due to the large ammount of ai, perhaps a good way to fix this problem while also keeping the game hard in later levels, would be to find a good max number that still has tons of enemies but not too much to ruin preformance, then from there, you keep that number per wave execpt more and more ai's will spawn as stronger ones, so eventually, no more pesants would spawn, rather we would have warriors as the lowest to spawn, then maybe eventually knights, etc etc. we already got a full blackguard wave which is great. another option would be to have tanks spawn a bit later in waves so say you could have 200 enemies off the bat, then after a few minutes to give a chance to thin down the ai numbers a tank would spawn, even more than one tank maybe. any way to keep the games running. (also as a side note, is a end game in yet? desides death)

I'm Canadian. I have to ride my polar bear to my local server tower to shovel coal into the generator to power the community internet haha

@GentWolfgang xD Why r u playing this if u can ride polar bears?! ;)

what u described is already setup. After wave 25? no peasants should spawn anymore.
The max enemies alive are set in config. Currently i think it is set to 55 which may be too much for clients to handle. If you experience lags, it is mostly due to the local machine rather than server.
