Minor Update 4.5 - Changelog

- Hero bonuses (excluding captains and admirals) adjusted to match new CWH values and reflected in text tooltips. These are:

181st now gives Movement Speed Bonus
Singularity now gives +15% shield bonus instead of 10%
Hoytt now gives a +10% Defense Bonus
Grievous now gives a +30% damage
Trench now gives a +15% health bonus
Reaper Squadron now gives +20% movement speed bonus
Ackbar's Wingless MC-80 now gives +10% Damage boost
Ackbar's Home One now gives +20% Damage boost instead of Range loss, now includes Capital Ships
Garm Bel Iblis now gives +20% Movement speed buff
Thrawn now gives +20% damage

- Text tooltip adjustments carried over.
- CIS Insolvence-class pop cost raised from 25 to 40.
- New icon and replaced text description for Talon Karrde.
- New icon for Dedra Meero.
- New icon and replaced text description for Prince Isolder.
- Reaper Squadron and SoroSuub Enforcers stats buffed.
- SIRAA missiles on Victory-II Frigate buffed (also affects precision missile launchers on Golan platforms).
- Added Niko's new Icons for the DH-Omni Supply Ship, CSA’s Gallandro, Republic and Imperial Screed and the Rebel Marauder.
- Talon Karrde's AI combat power increased.
- Boba Fett AI combat power increased.
- Reverted V-Wing scaling.
- Fixed incorrect tactical health count for DH-Omni Supply Ship.
- Fixed Insolvence-class hardpoint HP.
- Added Niko's fix for Space Rhen Var map.
- Fixed incorrect number of craft in ARC-175 garrison.
- CIS Overseer hardpoints corrected.

(Nexu class and new VO have not been included due to lack of permissions.)





3.5 Revisited-specific Changes

- Minor AI behaviour adjustments in GC.
- AI combat power of all tech level 3, 4 and 5 units increased by 10% - this should make the AI build less tech level 1 and 2 ships once tech level 3+ is reached.
- Kedalbe Battleship cost and AI combat power increased to reflect it's increased power and ability to ignore shields.
- Number of Kedalbe Battleships spawned by Mandalorian Golan 2 and Golan 3 stations reduced from 3 to 2.
- Tech level countdown timer increased by 5s for better alignment.
- Added new story scripts file for player faction in AI observation campaigns, and player faction will now be given the dummy planet at campaign start.
- Reduced Mon Mothma income by 1000.
- Corrected flak hardpoint for Trench appearing and sounding like a turbolaser, and replaced Heavy Single Turbolaser hardpoints on Providence Dreadnaught with flak hardpoints.
- Trench, Providence Dreadnaught, Savage Destroyed and Headache-class flak cannons can now fire independently.
- Fixed missing radar icons for some CIS ships.





- Fixed burning flak hardpoint on Trench and Providence Dreadnaught.
- Correctly replaced Reaper Squadron fighters with their new model.
- Fixed missing icon for Republic Screed.
- Replaced elite Z-95 icon for Reaper Squadron with Whisper icon.
- Replaced elite Porax icon for Magnaguard Escorts with the Magnaguard icon.
- Corrected hero buff text tooltips for Thrawn and Reaper Squadron.
- Removed mention of FoW reveal range buff from Gilad Pallaeon - Leveller





Republic starting area is quite weak surrounded by low income level 3 starbase planets and only one way off of Kamino, so the changes made:

- Bothawui income from 750 to 1500, max starbase level from 4 to 5.
- Hypori income from 300 to 600, max starbase level from 3 to 4.
- Nal Hutta income from 300 to 600, max starbase level from 3 to 4.
- Link from Kamino to Rishi removed.
- Links added from Kamino to Bothawui, Rothana and Nal Hutta.

Additionally on the Core GC, the path between the starting positions of the Rebel/Mando and Underworld/CIS was too short, meaning they focused each other while the Empire/Republic is ignored, so changes have been made:

- Cato Nemoidia's links to Mimban and Duro were removed.
- Torpedo Sphere on Loronar replaced with CIS Insolvence-class.

NOTE: None of these changes will impact existing save files, they will only apply to new campaigns.

Awesome update as always. The new liveries look great and I'm finally gonna have my Rebel clanka fleet! Was half expecting Dedra's icon to be her infamous finger-on-head pose lol~ Not to rain on all your effort but spotted some things:

1. Reaper Squadron's +20% movement speed bonus not listed in tooltip.

2. New model and textures for Z-95 Headhunter Clone Variant and Reaper Squadron aren't showing; tried deleting and reinstalling but no dice.

3. Republic's Screed icon is missing, just a blank space.

4. DH-Omni Supply Ship is now cheaper? 7,500 vs ~10,000 previously.

5. Providence Dreadnaughts (and Trench) spawn with a fiery spot on their right Flak Cannon Battery (as though there's a dead hardpoint).

6. New Imperial hero Gilad Pallaeon's ability isn't directly usable and no cooldown appears when fighting with auto-ability turned on; hard to check if it works.

7. Thrawn now gives +20% damage additional buff is not listed in either of his 3 appearances' tooltips.

Glad you're enjoying it and thanks for always reporting these - you notice a lot of things I miss. :D
I'll be putting together a hotfix shortly, since the Providence flak cannon problem was already reported and fixed on my end.

As of now points 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 have been fixed.

Point 4: DH-Omni stats were "reset" to what they are in CWH. The new hardpoints, model, text tooltip, HP and cost match their original values.

Point 6: This is a weapon swap ability rather than an active ability with a cooldown. When active you're switching the concussion missile hardpoints to fire ion pulse missiles instead.

Point 8: As I understand it defence is applied to the damage reduction value of each ship's armour value. So for example if a ship takes -66% damage from medium turbolasers, a 10% defence buff would mean it takes -70% damage instead. Best way to think about it would be the "take cover" ability for infantry in vanilla EaW. I'm not sure if defence applies to shields or not as well.
