Reverting CE Artillery Back To Vanilla
I love CE. I love what it does with the guns, I love what it does with explosive fragments. I love what it does with body targeting. I don't love the artillery system.
With Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Security comes the Artillery piece, and CE adds 155mm howitzer shells to go along with them. They are over $200 silver to buy one, and cost 2 components to craft one, such a cost for one shell (that could miss entirely which is outside of your control) is ridiculous! With the vanilla shells, I could easily maintain several stacks of shells and keep a theoretically infinite number of artillery pieces fully stocked. Now in CE, I struggle to maintain one (1) stack of HE shells.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a mod or something I could edit in CE to revert the changes it makes to the artillery system back to its vanilla state.

Arty rounds at a size capable of cracking centipedes with sheer force and can be fired out of a gun that can target and destroy map events (which is chance based I'll give you that) cost two components to craft, you're too broke for that and will be too broke for a while unless you can make or buy the prerequisite components yourself, cope, consider smaller shells for the time being.

Also get a spotter, any indirect fire in CE either needs line of sight up to roughly sniper range from the mortar crew or a spotter targeting a tile or enemy to remove the indirect fire penalty, a good shooting spotter will pretty much guarantee that the shell falls within 1-3 tiles of your target, which will be more than enough for 155mm.
