Offspring not inheriting any Xenogenes

I had a female baseliner and a modified male with several xenogenes. I decided to do IVF and the vat baby had only Xenogenes. I would love to know why none of the Xenogenes took to the infant. Thanks in advance.

Because xenogenes cannot be inherited in RimWorld. I have another mod which changes this if you don't like that behaviour! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2879792769
