Character Website - HowTo
https://anime-armada.neocities.org/

Using the little website I made, you can follow these steps to choose your character:
1) Search for character you want.
2) Make sure you have the mod where that character comes from. Click the 'i' on the website for more info on this.
3) After you click on the character portrait, click 'Download Character Data' button.

4) Save the 'Shipgirl Base.ck3ruler' file to your Downloads folder.
5) Open a new folder on your PC and click on 'Documents'. This should be on the left of any folder you open, or you can try Windows Key + E and select it from the list there.
6) You should see a folder called 'Paradox Interactive'. Open it.

7) Then open 'Crusader Kings III'.
8) You should now see a bunch of folders, but we're interested in a folder called 'rulers'. If you don't see it, you can simply create a new folder and name it that (without the ').
9) Open the rulers folder.

10) Open your Download folder in a new folder window, which is where you saved the 'Shipgirl Base.ck3ruler' file.
11) Drag the 'Shipgirl Base.ck3ruler' file over to the rulers folder to move it into it.
12) Now you can load this DNA data in-game.

Notes:
The DNA of the character doesn't actually matter, what matters is the Trait. The website I made just gives you a ruler DNA file that includes the Trait of the character you wanted to play as. Why is this relevant?

Because this means that the website is somewhat volatile as new updates to the mods are made due to how it works. If the ID of any Trait is changed, then the website will break for those specific characters.

You can check if the data you got is broken simply by loading the ruler DNA in-game. If you notice a question mark on a trait icon, then that means the character won't work as the ID was likely changed.

In this instance, you have two options.
1) Search for the trait manually in the Trait list like you would have originally.
2) Use my website to look for a different character and hope that one isn't also broken.

Don't Want to use the website? No worries:
All the characters you can be are available for you to choose by giving yourself the corresponding trait. In fact, my website doesn't include ALL of the characters you can pick simply due to the fact that the mods update so much.

While creating your Custom Ruler, give yourself the Trait corresponding to the character you want to be. (note that you'll need to finish creating your custom ruler before you see them turn into the character.)

So for example, if you wanted to be Lexington, then you would search for the Trait called 'Lexington' in the trait list and then add it to your character like you would any other trait.
