Coverage - searched everywhere.

I´ve have read everything i can find about the mod, but i cant figure out the coverage range for the life of me... does it have the same coverage range as the generator? and if yes is there a way to increase the range?

Saw a Reddit post say he had a light 24 tiles away that worked with the panels but not his generator. He never said what the limit was, did you ever find that out?
