I'm playing as Epidemius and recruited Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord. While changing the latters equipment I accidently clicked a blue weapon I had without noticing.
Many turns later while managing his Ancillaries I noticed that his Black Cleaver wasn't equipped anymore. (didn't notice in battles since his army was strong enough to auto resolve the 4-5 fights it had) When I tried to give him back the weapon that is designed to be his I noticed I can't equip it on him.
It's greyed out and shows the message "This item or ancillary can only be equipped by the following: Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord". Compared to the usual red the message is orange though, but it still doesn't let me equip it regardless.
Since I've been playing for quite some time now I don't really want to reload to a save before the unequip happened but not having the buffs is quite annoying.
I hope this is a bug and that it can be fixed somewhat easily and quickly.
