Following PrinceOfPluto's work, I've put together a mod that adds more vehicles behaving like these trains. If you have enough self-restraint to keep the trains on rails, you should also be able to keep boats on water and trucks on roads. :)

- Rowboat - keep to coastal and protected waters

- Motorboat - keep to coastal and protected waters
- Square-Rigged Trade Ship
- Diesel Patrol Cutter

- Road Van - keep to stone roads or better
- 6x6 Rough Road Truck - any roads, or firm, flat, non-forested terrain, like Shrubland, Desert, Tundra


@PrinceOfPluto, I hope you don't mind me sharing this here. I'm not a modder, don't have a github, have no idea how to use the workshop, and frankly, I'd much rather leave "official" modding to people who are more capable at this. However, I wanted boats in Rimworld for years, and your trains inspired me to spend a couple of days parroting the patterns in your mod and drawing some really crappy boat graphics in Paint to make a local boats mod for my own use. Now that it works, I figured I'd share it in case you or anyone else here finds it fun too.
