So I recently found out about thralls and was doing a Medieval focused but not limited dynasty run (kids and learning) and figured out that I can capture someone that has a melee passion and not ♥♥♥♥ traits/passions, then mind wiping them to convert them, then mind breaking them to make them not need sleep or recreation, then sending them to the academy to learn melee, medical, and intelligence, then once they have a decent amount, I do a ceremony to get them all Psycasters, tell them to meditate and donate their psy gains to the Anima Obelisk, and research when not meditating once they have finished their studies (basically getting all of these skills to 10)

And for their psy-class builds, I just go ham on Warlord and slap them in some heavy armor. It has become my new favorite thing to watch these speed demons ♥♥♥♥ off across the map to slap someone with a beat stick <3
