[B42] Unofficial Community Update Project
I propose an unofficial update to B42.
Hopefully we have some RV Interior fans with knowledge of PZ Coding to assist?
So far I have managed to update the structure to B42, identify 4 errors (https://imgur.com/a/Jd7HHot) that can be removed to continue debugging but yet when using the command the player does not teleport to the interior and when teleporting manually to the set coords there is no generated interior.

these 2 issues appear to occur outside the LUA debugger

My next steps are as follows:
Create a building using the new map tools and replacing all map files with a repeat of this building to test if issue lies in instance generation/map compatibility
Investigate what has broken the teleportation function.

My goal is to try and at-least have this mod temporarily allow use of one RV

If anyone has any useful information please comment, I have found 2 changes so far in the patch notes which could effect this mod:

Fixed bugs when teleporting while in a vehicle, which also caused duplications and sometimes trapping players inside cars. Players will now be removed from a vehicle before being teleported.
Now any time a character in a vehicle teleports, it is funneled through one java function in IsoGameCharacter.java that will properly remove them from a vehicle.

my theory is that because of this when the mod attempts to remove the player from the vehicle it fails due to already occurring however this won't explain the debug teleport action not working

Edit - We're Live on Github

Commenting for visibility. This is a great mod and there were at least two other people who mentioned having modding experience and willingness to update it.
Try to contact these two people, they wrote in the comments that they are trying to update the mod, maybe something will work out for you. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198004703684

i really miss RV interior so i hope this community updated version works out, i wish i could help out but i don't have any modding experience.
Awesome idea, it seems the original author is just not around anymore.
Best of luck with this. If anyone sees this, leave a comment or exposure.

I’d love to support this project! While I don’t have modding experience with Project Zomboid, I’m a software engineer and believe I can contribute. Would it be possible to move the project to a GitHub repository? This would make it easier to access the mod files and allow others to collaborate more efficiently. Looking forward to helping out!

@TheWiseStoner I was thinking the same thing, I'm still working on this project and I've made some progress but it's slow due to life. I have never made a github repo so if anyone else has experience please reach out else I will create one asap

@Janger[Eng] I’d be happy to support you with this, it’s not too hard! I’ve sent you a friend request; feel free to reach out. We can set up a repository to make the project more accessible.
hopefully you guys can figure it out, just recently got into zomboid and i don't want to revert back to build 41

Sadly, I have little to no coding experience but have you considered widening your requests audience by posting this on the r/projectzomboid on reddit? I suspect you may find more interested supporters there.
