Game crash after Round 52
Hello everyone,

I'm encountering a persistent issue while playing Total War: Warhammer 3 with the Radious Total War Mod. The game crashes every time I hit "End Turn" on Round 52. I've tried several troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to work. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Repaired the game via Steam.

Reinstalled the game and all mods from scratch.

Tried lowering the graphics settings, but the crash still occurs.

I’ve ensured that there hasn't been a recent game update that could be affecting the mods.

I have a higher-end PC, so performance should not be an issue. The problem only seems to happen at Turn 52 after I confirm the end of the turn.

For context, the only mods I’m using in this order are:

Radious Total War Mod - Part 1

Radious Total War Mod - Part 2

Radious Total War Mod - Part 3

Radious Total War Mod - Part 4 - Assets

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this specific mod setup or around Turn 52? I’d appreciate any advice or potential fixes you might have.

Try using console command mod to find out and then destroy which factions is making the end turn sequence crash

The instructions to use it and the required commands are on their steam page

Thanks again for your response!

I removed the faction from the campaign as suggested, but unfortunately that didn’t resolve the issue.
After looking into the log files more closely, I believe I’ve found a possible cause:

It appears that the turn speed setting affects game stability.
When AI factions are set to "Fastest", the game eventually crashes once the AI workload becomes too heavy.
Since switching the turn speed back to "Normal", I haven’t experienced any further crashes – the issue seems to be resolved for now.

I can’t say for sure whether this is caused by the base game (Total War: Warhammer 3) or by one of the mods I’m using, but lowering the speed definitely prevented the crash on my end.

Hopefully this helps anyone else experiencing similar issues.

It can be because with Radious there are a lot more movements in the map, as there are more armies and agents roaming around.

I hope you have no mroe issues and can enjoy your game.

If you have a 13th or 14th gen intel CPU then your CPU is defective and degraded. This is a common and well known issue with these cpu's. It will crash during intense, specific workloads until it will no longer work at all eventually. Bios updates can stop further degradation but it won't fix whatever damage already happened. RMA it if that's a cpu you have.

My game keeps crashing during round 51, but not during the AI phase. the harbingers of disaster (ironic lmao) keep appearing in this round, and when I move the camera over where they are, the game freezes and closes itself after a minute or so :/

If you have "unit details" at low, change it and try again. If that does not fix it, then it´s a vanilla issue reported hundreds of times to CA to no avail.

I had my unit details on ultra and I somehow couldn't open your links (both just opened google for me), buuuut I kinda fixed the problem now. I spent 3 rounds completely skipping the AI turns and completely avoiding the area in which the crash occured. Now when I pan to the area where it crashed before, it doesn't anymore. I never had this happen before, but maybe I was just lucky :')

Well, both opened google because that´s what is linked: results with people saying their campaign crashes for no reason
