Report a translation problem
Spawning units is dead easy, just select the army you want to spawn the units into, open the console box and type "au wh_main_emp_inf_halberdiers" to spawn in some empire halberdiers.
You need the 'main unit key' which can be found in the main data.pack file or you can browse honga which contains a database of all the vanilla units:

And it is really weird, functionally the heros work, its just the art that seems to be messing up, wish there was a way to separate it or make it less faction dependant so cross faction heros could be an easier thing to do, and not result in the good ol' bright wizard bug
What command did you use to spawn lords?
I click on a settlement, type spawn, followed by the lord, so for example
spawn wh3_main_cth_lord_magistrate_yin
or
spawn wh2_dlc13_lzd_kroxigor_ancient
Its worked perfectly for me so far, every time I use it, proper lord spawns with all their abilities, proper level up trees, models and everything
Bit of back and forth but, best we got till the dogs of war mod comes to WH3, if it ever does, fingers crossed.
"agent wizard wh2_main_hef_mage" does nothing but "agent wizard" always spawns a chaos sorcerer of fire.
Which is strange because
"agent champion wh2_main_hef_noble" works just fine.
for the mage I went "agent wizard wh2_dlc15_hef_mage_death"
It has all the skills and voice lines and everything, it just appears as an imperial shadow wizard, if you know how I can change the model, that would be awesome
It looks like using the command for specific units will only work for some units that are properly linked in the database when using it for other cultures. If there isnt a link it doesnt seem to work correctly and may not spawn anything, or spawn it as a default model which seems to be the empire shadows wizard.
I tried with a ton of combinations and found success with:

these are the ones I have so far that work for me at least
and im hoping there will be a mod like that for WH3 as well
"au" is the prefix before you enter the specific unit key found in the github databases that are linked in the other pinned discussion on the mod page. Also make sure that you have a Lord/Army slected before entering. From what I can tell depending on your faction some units may not work or just dont work for another reason. I am sure there are other tables out there or ones that are more up to date but I have used the ones linked and havent had an issue with units yet, just some lords/heroes
