I'm kind of losing track with all these amazing updates from you. Would you mind having a look at this existing mod named 'Armour Curve' https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2641641831 ?
Its author appears to have given up on the mod and even wanted to hand it over to me, but I'm not a modder..
Can you do 2x1 and 3x1 concave curves in split 1x1 blocks (base / middle / tip)?
Convex curve counterparts I myself don't have a need for, but others might enjoy those too :)
Regarding Aryemis comment:
> Plates for the vanilla half slope and half slope inverted, as well as for vanilla round blocks and the ones you have made. ...
Those are already in the base game under 'armor panels', if I'm not mistaken.
ya, i don't see any reason i couldn't add something like that to the rounded blocks i already have. would be nice to expand that category abit. can't really give a timeframe as i'm working on some ramp stuff atm. lol. all these blocks are gonna make me have to rethink how i order stuff in the g-menu. i already kinda claimed a whole line. lol
you already have a custom group and propper block variants. I don't think you need to worry about blockcount in G-menu as long as those are in place :)
> can't really give a timeframe
Quality > Quantity. Don't burn yourself out on this stuff :D
i mostly said that cuz i'm doing some more corner squares and inverts right now. then another request for a block(s) i still haven't made up a name for yet. lol. then i wanna re-render all the blocks before the collection gets too big. i wanna resize the collision meshes so they fit inside the mesh rather than wrapping around. i used a copy of the blocks mesh for the collision and it for some reason rendered them all slightly larger. that's gonna be a task in itself. not sure if that was a limitation on Keens end or SEUT, but simply scaling them seems to work well. at least as well as rendering 130+ models over again can be. while i'm doing that there are a few blocks i'd like change some UV's, mount points, and airtight issues. i'm hoping by then i've decided if to use custom materials or not. cuz i'd have to re-render them all again for that if i don't do it then. luckily, i enjoy this kinda thing. so it'll take awhile to burn out from it.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2118252855&searchtext=Armor+Slab has but just vanilla blocks instead
is something wrong with that mod?
I'm pretty sure that the mod had some issues with pressurization in multiplayer as well as collisions. Plus the high-tech blocks I do not necessarily want but I do not know how to disable them.
that would be an extensive size set. if done, it couldn't be for awhile as there are 2 sets and a few other requests yet to do.
