RESULTS OF TESTING
Firstly a big thank you for all who took time to check out this project. Currently on update 4.8.. Started with creating the landscape, V1.0, The Island Height-map and modify it, just to learn the ropes, so to speak. Added foliage with level streaming in mind, I did get it wrong but got there in the end. Experimenting with Dino spawns (ongoing). Experimenting with supply drops. Added some tests Islands. The Brood-mother and Dinopithicus King wil NOT be permanently located in the current areas.. With ups and downs we get to the current state V4.8.

4.7 results.. All tests in Editor work fine.. After cooking and uploading the update.. Corrupted humans, dont spawn in? Ice-worm is not a ice-worm its a Death-worm? Tested weather and it rained persistently on 1 server but ok on others? Added approx 100 more Dino spawn points with many more to add. Maybe the odd over-spawn, monitoring that.

4.8 created a rough height-map The Underworld (not pretty but wow! What a canvas to work with) THIS ADDED approx 1 GB to the file size, basically 2 maps in one here.

Not seen a Thunder Storm within normal parameters yet but may have fixed constant rain with a blueprint re-compile?

For the moment use "cheat ghost" to go view The Underworld. Its a long way down so " cheat fly" once your under The Sanctuary Landscape. Then "cheat" walk on the Underworld landscape to have a wonder to get a feel of the scale. cheat fly to get back to the surface, Sanctuary Landscape. "cheat walk" close to the Landscape to return to normal. Remember The Underworld is NOT pretty, YET!!

In v5.0. Concerning the entrance to the Underworld. Most of the rock formations did not appear or those that did had no textures *material* or textures appeared that were not intended? . OK in editor NOT in cooked, uploaded version? This is puzzling to me?? Not to mention frustrating and time consuming. Reason being my lack of knowledge on the process but getting there.

V5.1 placed in basalt columns, because they work. Will work on these problems and the odd none spawner.

To stop annoying people with constant updates will reduce updates to about once a month unless i find something mind blowing to put in or more likely fix an update that went rogue..

I have recorded some of the mishaps and likely to produce a video for anyone interested.

Video still processing.. 32 mins long. 3 days and still not fully processed? Previous video (above) 52 mins same settings took less than a day to process.. YT erratic?

Thank you again eekoresident.. The plant z problem was a lack of a buff so hopefully that will work ok in game now, also, not in the video the poison mushrooms I added a buff, which if you have ever played Aberration gives you a psychedelic effect after consuming. The problem is will they work when cooked? The Mega Rex levels were actually OK in the editor has the editors has default levels and my game is set to spawn in creatures at 150 (x5) mis-observation on my part. The problem was it still persisted after I altered the Mega to normal. I have no doubt the error was self inflicted. I had similar problems with the Lava Golem, Broodmother and the Dinopithicus King but they now work fine. These creatures are likely to be moved to the Underworld in the future along with other boss like creatures. Other video's will be forthcoming, Its all time consuming stuff tho, so bare with me and again thank you.

5.5 update today has been a disaster.. Nothing more than a few tweaks and nothing critical altered? Reverting and re uploading.

5.7 update mostly good.. Tendril test failed, half expected it would, thats that scenario crossed off the list, ready for next test scenario, the only way to learn... Bring it on..

First underwater cave being developed.. looking ok.

Fire Wyverns in..

Oil field or oil island coming along..

Underworld development on hold until Upperworld is more established.

Second artifact requires replacing.. I didnt forget? NO I didnt..

Element is available on one of the twin volcanoes.

After experimenting with sandstorm, entering the desert biome sound effects turn on but dont turn off.. Fix in next update. Species z still not spawning once uploaded to steam.. Species R spawns in but unable to get resource, Yet? Some Element rocks produce Element but is not usable?? Investigating.. Water reflections, lighting and shadows require work in the underworld?

Todays the day we should get news on the future Ark.. At Last! Lots of experiments going on esp in the underworld. After the last Ark Devkit update it seems that warnings are more prevalent and thats not because of the update per se, the errors or actually warnings to potential error were being identified better, very much more helpful. Currently over 700 spawn locations of which approx 30 had warnings attached to them, the errors were always there, just tiny experimental errors on my part which were detected only after the update. 99% spawn errors now fixed.

9.7 update has a cave landscape error (requires trimming).. Already fixed for the 9.8 update.. More tweaks done for cave before the update, hopefully this evening. Going to test the cave area and tweak where necessary.

Underworld - 1 land overspawn and 1 water overspawn left? No matter what settings are used the overspawn remains?? Next update these will be removed. Brood Mother Isle works well now. Experimentation with Treasure Chests and Loot crates continuing.

Upperworld 51 29 beaver spawn (massive overspawn), avoid this area until next update? An experiment that went wrong!!
