The underworld has been divided in 2 landscapes, requires smoothing, texturing and loads of work. The reason for the update is to test if it uploads ok, the last 4 cooks failed. With all thats going on in the Ark world at the moment, who knows whats going to happen.
If you have built in the Underworld, go into fly or ghost mode and retrieve your components. Dino's should be recoverable except water creatures! Except for some lakes, the underworld water volumes have been removed.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
I'm in the process of cooking an update.. It seems the 2gb FMemorylimit writer (widows no editor) has been resolved for now. Update will go later today.
Removed the hole entering the snow cave, teleport instead.
Removed the cave at the north pyramid.
Added a teleport to the underworld at the South Pyramid.
Fixed a water anomaly on edges of upperworld map.
Fixed a couple of overspawns. Still monitoring.
Right Click ARK: Survival Evolved in your Steam Library -> Click Properties -> Betas -> Beta participation -> "preaquatica"
I am in the process of downloading this now. I have tested many scenarios so its likely I have lost my current single player scenario. I have many backups if that is the case. We will have to see what happens???
The beauty of this game is its customisation via mods, ini settings etc Whether PVP, PVE, just chilling with friends etc You can play Ark exactly has you want.
This map has some unique areas for large builds, its designed on purpose, actually the main purpose to be creative on.
I would be extremely interested in knowing how this map performs on a system like yours. I have to be honest, have never been a fan of laptops, I personally dont think they can cut it, I really hope you can prove me wrong? The last laptop i owned was just after the real dinosaurs died out lol So I am not really in the position to criticise those systems.
