Playing as Nomad Empire

It's a pretty cool mod. But can you add special resources to the resources on top? Like in the Gigastructure. There are special resources there too, and they're visible from above. I just can't see them; I only see them through the cheat menu.

Darkspace Species Never allowed?

As the title says, whenever I go to select the Spectralic species, it says they are never allowed and doesnt let me use them.

Has anyone else found a way to make this work?
