How to become a Fallen Empire and spawn new empires
FallenEmpire perk: Arcane Ascension
This perk allows you to become a true Fallen Empire, guarding the galaxy forever and creating new empires whenever you want.

NOTE: You do NOT need the colossus perk / DLC to do this! You will get a new ship class to fire "planetkiller" weapons.

Step 1: - Unlocking the perk
The perk itself is for ALL empires available, but you need at least 6 other perks unlocked.
It will unlock: technologies for new buildings, ships, edicts.

Step 2: - What will you get?
TECH: "Irdir"-class
A colossus with new weapons to terraform planets, spawn new empires and destroy megastructures (one weapon each ship, has no empire-limit).

TECH: "Arcane buildings"
These buildings produce a lot of resources and research points without any pops, similar to the basegame Fallen Empire buildings. Available after using the edict "Restart."

EDICT: "Restart"
Needed to use the Arcane buildings. All planets that are not your capital world will get their pops decreased to 1, doesnt matter what they had before.

This makes it possible to continue to play without managing a lot of pops and probably less gamelag when you spawn more empires. The buildings will be more than enough to keep up your entire empire + more. Megastructures not even counted in!
This is only for the buildings, everything else like spawning new empires will be possible without it. Its only for some counter-balance when having thousands of pops in the map.

EDICT: "Matrixintegration"
Removes ALL pops which dont belong to your main species, only optional use.

EDICT: "FallenEmpire difficulty"
Optional use. If you think you are already strong enough (especially in MP), then this edict will stop ANY research progression of your scientists. This can help to balance further fights against your spawned empires for some bigger challenge.

Step 3: - Spawning new empires
The Irdir-colossus has special planet-killer weapons to:
- destroy megastructures in the entire system (target the star!)
- terraform any planet except GasGiants or destroyed worlds into habitable worlds
- spawn new empires on habitable worlds

The new spawned empires will start with a lot of modifiers, resources and over 150 extra techs to have a quick start. It should only take a few centuries for them to rebuild, dependent on the RNG, AI behavior and location.

Do you have enough influence and unity to use it?
There is otherwise nothing that could block it^^

Yes of coarse haha. Are there any pre requisites for activation other than influence and unity? Like I'm super confused. Do I have to conquer the whole galaxy first or something. I've taken the birch world already..

Does it mention the missing requirement? You only need the perk to have it.
Please tell me your game setup.

When you use it, all colonies will remain with 1 pop (except your capital).
The edict will then became unavailable, you can use it only once.

Using it this single time will give you the possible technology for the arcane buildings.

Its like that to avoid that the player has already a strong economy + can use these buildings.

Hey I wanted to ask, when you hit the restart does that mean only your planets or does it kill off everything for everyone?

I got arcane accession very early, 40 years in and there isn't any button for restart.
