Origins + Civics

Civics

Spectrals - only machines
Play an ancient machine race with bonuses for war.
The unique origin "Spectrals Cluster" lets you start in an own star cluster outside of the galaxy and enables the Ascension Perk "Interstellar Overclocking". This will start a unique crisis path with new structures, ships, technologies and lore.
They can also build the unique habitat class "Core", which has unique districts.
Apart from that, they have also 90% less FTL jump cooldown.
When played right, they can be the most powerful civilization in the entire game.

Certast - only machines
Another incredible old machine race, once created by the Certus. They have a few war bonuses, a small research bonus and more envoys. Like the Spectrals, they have 90% less FTL jump cooldown!
The Certast have an own origin called "Certast Cluster", where you start outside of the galaxy.
Spectrals and Certast are a part of the DarkSpace lore, thats why they have the unique origins and bonuses.

Certus - only organics
One of the oldest organic species in existence and a part of the DarkSpace lore. They have an own origin called "Requiem", which starts with 4 planets. Also, they can create the unique megastructure "Wegbereiter" and upgrade it until they can spawn unique planet types wherever they want. These special planet classes have very strong advantages/bonuses.
In general, their gameplay is focused on a very strong economy & diplomacy.

Vero - only organics
An intelligent people with immortal leaders and focus on powerful leaders in general. They have a unique shipclass "Seele" which terraforms planets without any tech requirements.
The own origin "Vi" lets you start on an "Immortal"-class planet.

Phoenix Regime - only organics
This empire lost a large war and now tries to rebuild everything. Has the own origin "Phoenix Empire", which starts on the strong planet class "Stahl". There is also a damaged Stratetic Coordination Center in their homesystem. Their ships have low upkeep costs (-25%!).

Masterbuilders - for all empires
Increases megastructure buildspeed by 50% and capacity by +1.

Neutronpower - for all empires
Has an own origin called "Allmacht". This unique megastructure is only available for this origin and later you will be able to decide how to upgrade it: either you improve your physics OR engineering research -speed by 35%.

Hearts of Iron - for all empires
Has bonuses for strikecrafts and after researching battleships, you can research the new shipclass "Supercarrier". It has 3 different section templates available (Carrier Mode, Attack Mode, Defense Mode).

Warlord - for all empires
After researching battleships, the technology for the new ship class "Shepard" will be available.
This ship works like a larger titan and supports your fleets with an aura. It has 3 different section templates available (Carrier Mode, Attack Mode, Defense Mode).

Peacekeeper - only for pacifist empires
This empire has strong bonuses for their starbases and a new component for them to improve their stats a lot.

Quantum Navigation - for all empires
Increases the range and accuracy of the Quantum Catapult (Overlord DLC megastructure).

Origins

Spectrals cluster
Only for the Spectrals civic. You start in an own cluster outside of the galaxy on a special ringworld with unique districts. Apart from that 2 other ruined ringworlds are nearby to repair.
The perk "Interstellar Overclocking" offers a unique crisis path with new structures, ships, techs and more.

Certast cluster
Only for the Certast civic.You start in an own cluster outside of the galaxy on a special ringworld with unique districts. You will find another ringworld to repair.

Requiem
Only for the Certus civic. You start with 4 special planets in your homesystem which have strong bonuses and characteristics.

Halo
You start on a giant habitat with the shape of a ring. Check the situation log, there will be a project to finish to unlock the "Halo"-megastructure. This structure is like a superweapon, you can destroy enemy planets and fleets with it!
The ascension perk "Array of the end" will unlock another Halo structure, which will be an own crisis path to win the game. (it will end in a total war and you can blow up the galaxy)

Phoenix Empire
A system with the unique planet classes "Stahl". There is also a damaged Stratetic Coordination Center in their homesystem.

Prism World
Only for Lithoids, you start on a wonderful planet made out of crystals. You will be able to increase the planet size up to 35, which will unlock a powerful deposit bonus. Use the planetary decision to let the planet "grow" larger!

Vi
For the "Vero" civic, you start in a beautifil system with the "Immortal"-class planets, which have strong bonuses for your empire. You can terraform other planets to the Immortal class right after the game begins with the help of a new ship, but it isnt so cheap to get at start.

Hiveworld
Only for hiveminds: you start on a Hiveworld.

Solarflare
This empire just had its first contact with another space empire, but the friendly neighbours just got wiped out by a solar flare! You are left with a devastated homeworld and the 3 known Fallen Empire technologies (darkmatter shields, reactor, power core) and the ability to mine dark matter deposits. One of such deposits will spawn just one jump away! Not for machines.

Ark of the constructors
Once a paradise for their organic creators, this world is now a giant structure of metal and constructions which even exceed the horizon/atmosphere. This origin is only for machines, and those machines will be able at some point to extend and use all the incredible large structures & districts there. Use the planetary decision to increase the amount of districts up to 80.
Planet size 40 will unlock a special kind of research district, which produces research points without any pops needed.

Intergalactic Isolationists (2x)
This empire lives in a star cluster outside of the galaxy. Your cluster will be connected to the galaxy via "Interstellar Portals" (all empires can use them). They will be visible on the galaxy map. This origin is 2x available, so it can be used with a friend in multiplayer!

Utopia
An origin made for "one system challenges"/tall empires. You start with more special and powerful planets.

Arcane
You start on a giant "Arcane"-ringworld that has 8 habitable segments with unique districts. Designed for tall empires/"one system challenge".

Gray Tempest
This is a playable Gray Tempest empire that is based on nanites. You have access to a new trait, ships, technologies, planets, buildings, structures, crisis path & jobs.

Allmacht

You start on a gas giant with unique districts and bonuses. You will be able to terraform normal gas giants to habitable gas giants for further bonuses and expansion.

Utopia
An origin made for "one system challenges"/tall empires. You start with more special and powerful planets.

Arcane
You start on a giant "Arcane"-ringworld that has 8 habitable segments with unique districts. Designed for tall empires/"one system challenge".

Is it possible to make your own spectral ringworlds when you have the spectrals civic and origin(synthetic gods)? I've noticed there's no option to make spectral ringworlds for myself.

Right now there isnt a way, and I dont really plan anything specific to that.
Maybe terraforming normal ringworlds to spectralic ringworlds can be an option =)

I was wondering because it would make sense that the spectrals could make spectral ringworlds that state in the description "forged by the spectrals", I was just wondering. Great mod btw, been using it a lot lately, it's really fun :D

Finish its last stage, then you can build 3 new megastructures called Minerva, Surrelist & Mercurius.
