1) Have armor reduction + high dps + BKB/Satanic items
2) Skip otherwise

if you are playing solo (ancient or ancient fun mode) with magic characters most of the time you can burst him fast enough, if you dont i usually get euls or wind waker. for physical characters some of them are 100% impossible if you dont want to sacrifice lifes.
