Going to suggest Manila, given it was the site of some of the worst urban fighting of the Pacific War. I would also suggest some of the larger Chinese cities - Nanjing, Shanghai, Beijing to name a few. Further afield, perhaps Seoul and the cities of the Kanto and Kansai regions of Japan.

If doing the United States, the aforementioned NYC and LA, but in 1940 Chicago, Philadelphia and Detroit were all larger than LA, and should be added as well.

For Europe I'd also suggest Madrid, especially considering the heavy fighting around the city in the Civil War.

Any chance that the added provinces are going to get either localised or un-named? The procedural names come across kinda weird. Also, are you planning to match these to historical maps on some kind of revision pass - i.e. there really shouldn't be "city" in east or west Stalingrad, it was very long and thin and only on one side of the river?

Suggestion:

I'm from the Subcontinent, and particularly I find that cities within the Subcontinent are sidelined as small towns and insignificant strategic points, as if Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi and Karachi are the only cities in the entirety of the India. Could you please add/upgrade small towns within the British Raj, along with adding bigger cities to the below named and specified? That would be great, since the Raj cities are often painted off as insignificant towns, the reality is it's just neglected.

Oh and also add Brasiila and if you can, make it the capital. After all, Brasilia IS the actual Brazilian capital, and honestly I don't understand how Paradox Interactive can make such a mistake.

Edit: Paradox doesn't even have Brasilia as a city... :steamfacepalm:

I can add new locations, Brasilia not being the capital or a location in the game by default may be due to the fact that the capital was only changed to Brasilia in 1960 which is way after World War 2
