Preferred Apparel
So, I'd rather not clutter your comments but I'd like to chime in with atm it looks like
<canBeDesiredForIdeo>true</canBeDesiredForIdeo>
doesn't involve the "Preferred Apparel".

Like I said I am currently working on a patch for this that adds on Adeptus Mechanicus: Armoury and while I have currently got the roles side working fine. I am still puzzled by what exactly adds apparel to this list.

Funny enough it seems some apparel are defaulting in this list from Adeptus Mechanicus: Armoury already just not the Tech-Priest ones... Such as Krieg and Commissar apparel. Something they have by default is making them eligible.

Going to keep working on it while I can to see if I can figure out just what exactly it is.

Alrighty so my patch seems to be working with no errors now and will be uploaded soon, as I said I'd report my findings here.

So
<canBeDesiredForIdeo></canBeDesiredForIdeo>
seems to have nothing to do with the Preferred Apparel list, turns out from what I can tell the reason it grabbed some but not all apparel from the mod is because of
<costStuffCount></costStuffCount> and <stuffCategories> </stuffCategories>

After adding these and some respective values such as 120, then leathery & fabric they appeared in the Preferred Apparel list.

To be clear, these may not be the only requirements before they appear on any other apparel... I'd say more testing needs to be done on a more barebones apparel to see what matters and what doesn't.
