No Female Priests
A couple of people have asked for it, so I'm providing a tutorial (and the file) to remove all the ahistorcial/heretical female religious leaders.

1. Open up the 'mod' folder on your computer.
2. Inside the 'mod' folder, you'll see a folder called 'gender equality'. Open that one up.
2. Find the folder named 'common' - it should be the first folder there - and open it.
3. Download the revised 'religions' folder (here[www.mediafire.com], here[www.dropbox.com], or here[www.4shared.com]).
4. Unzip the contents of the folder into the 'common' folder we found in step 2. When asked if you want to replace the file, say yes.
5. Unsubscribe from Crusader Queens. It pains me to say it, but Steam will change it back to the original configuration if you don't. Feel free to favorite it, though, to keep up with future updates. :ambition:

The only things in my mod folder are "gfx" and "save games." no "common" folder.

My bad - I accidentally pointed you towards the wrong folder. The files are /actually/ in a folder called "mod". Then, open up the folder called "gender equality". You can follow the rest of the directions from there. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll get the right information into the OP.

The links have been removed by Steam's filters. Could you reupload, please?

Also, is there a similar way to keep some kingdoms from having female rulers? In my case, the Jewish one, since only males could rule

for some reason, doing this has stopped the entire mod from working - it still shows up and loads properly but does nothing anymore! perhaps something in Horse Lords has changed it?

EDIT: ignore me, I edited the file at the exact same time my game autoupdated to 2.4.3 even though I told it not to
