1.7.2 BUG FIX

Liu Biao vassal liberation issue
I'm not sure if anyone is still working on bug fixes, but as I was attempting to write a guide for Liu Bei in Fates Divided to try to help people get a proper Late Three Kingdoms showdown between Wei, Wu, and Shu-Han, I encountered a bug that I'd forgotten about that makes confederating Liu Biao nearly impossible. The main way you want to do this is to become his vassal, earn some territory, and then trade territory for liberation so that you are still besties and can try to confederate him with like +200 friendship.

The problem is that once you are liberated from Liu Biao, it treats you like you are still his vassal. It shows "past deals" as being that you are supporting his governance and that you have a guarantee of autonomy or whatever your arrangement was, but you can't cancel any of them and it won't allow you even try to join a coalition with him at that point, saying you can't ally when you are a vassal.

Anyone have ideas on if this is fixable and/or if any mods have already fixed this?

*bump* Has anyone fixed the bug where after being liberated or declaring independence you are still (edit: partially) considered in a vassal treaty with Liu Biao in the 200 campaign (possibly others)?
