I've no crash at all for the DS.

I've modified "MES-ProprietaryValuableBlocks" in "Config.Grids.xml" and check the box for Replacing O2H2-Generators , some ships are still crashing. Any clue? thanks

I've manually checked the file is there, not sure why there are error and maybe it's the cause of the issue.

@ABitCrazy Thanks for including the log. The error is indeed causing a problem here and prevents the "Proprietary O2/H2 Generator" definition from being loaded correctly.
I have not included any models or textures in this mod, since I simply create a copy of the default vanilla blocks. So the game should take them from the normal installation directory, but according to your log, it tries to load them from the mod folder itself.

I am not too familiar with dedicated servers, but have you moved the mod from the default workshop directory?

@The_Ich , thanks for your reply. I've checked the folder side both Single play / DS mode, \244850\2422592854\Textures\ only has one file clearCameraOverlay.dds and no other subfolder. Do you think this is normal? I've compared with the Single player folder the mod folder is within \SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2422592854\textures , and DS is within C:\Users\-----\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineersDedicated\content\244850\2422592854\Textures\ . Quite strange that the \GUI folder is not there . Any clue or I should move some files from other mods/ folder to fix this? please advise.

DS install mods just like single player but to the Roaming folder automatically, instead of the game folder, but I found both local /single player folder and my DS folder is actually have similar content.

Yes, this mod should not actually create any new textures.

Also, Dedicated Server has specific structuring, and cannot reliably grab remote files (a Keen/Steam bug), suggested bypass requires downloading the Mod Files directly then placing them in your Server's Directory manually.

@Blue64 Thanks, then where should I look for the source of those files inside /texture that this mod is looking for ? I've check both single player \244850\2422592854\Textures\ folder also have only 1 file but without the /GUI/ (and others files and folders). I can do some manual copy when I know the sources.

I've just found those file inside SpaceEngineer game folder \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\Models\Cubes , However, instead of copying the whole folder and file structures (or if you want me to copy specific files if you can provide you my list), is it possible for the mod (might need an update) to look for the local game original folder for those files instead of the mod folder itself? Since I found the same structure of the mod folder contents/ structures within single player mod folder; I guess in single player mode, the mod will search for local folder automatically.

Please provide a list of file I should copy, or might have an update the mod for DS behavior. Thanks.

You are not reading; I repeat what both myself and this mod author has plainly stated: There are ZERO TEXTURES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS MOD THAT ARE NOT LOCATED IN VANILLA, this is done from locating your PRE-EXISTING FILES FROM VANILLA and using those models: Verify File Integrity. You shouldn't require copying any files, though copying specifically what blocks it wants should get you the result you are wanting; most likely the O2/H2 Generator, AKA the Electrolyzer.

If you want to be 100% sure you are getting all your mod files you will want a website like

https://catalogue.smods.ru/game/space-engineers/

this allows you to grab these files completely.

You already found the installation folder "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common". There you should have two folders, one for SpaceEngineers (Client) and one called "SpaceEngineersDedicatedServer" (Server).

The required resources are specified in the file CubeBlocks_ProprietaryO2H2Generator.sbc. The game will first look into the mod's folder and because there is nothing there, it will then check the default ressources from the installation folder.
=> The client actually contains all these textures/models in the "Content" subfolder, but these files are not included in the Content folder of the server directory.

So you have two options:
1. You copy the missing files to the mod folder
2. You copy the missing files to the dedicated server folder

In both cases, you need to create the necessary data structure, so for example if something is located in \Textures\GUI\Icons\Cubes\OxygenGenerator.dds, you will find this file in "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\GUI\Icons\Cubes\".

I would suggest the second option. This has the advantage, that you keep the mod folder as it is, so you won't get any problems, when I update this mod or when steam verifies the file integrity. Both options come with the disadvantage of having to copy files, which might become outdated eventually. But it is very unlikely, that something fundamentally changes to these basic blocks. And properties would not be affected, since the server also has the .sbc file (for the vanilla block).

About the list of missing files: You can check out the error log, which file is missing and add them one by one. Models might contain references to other models or textures, for example the control panel will be reused by the O2H2-Generator-Block.

I do not really like my solution to include a .sbc file for the Proprietary O2H2 Generator, but unfortunately I could not find an easy way to create a copy of the existing definition or objectBuilder with a new unique Id and modified properties directly in the code. If someone knows a way, please let me know.

But as far as I know, even MES uses .sbc files for their proprietary versions of vanilla blocks. I will check out, how they are handling the issue with the textures/models.

Fallout 4, Skyrim, Sid Meier's Civ5, and other modding communities usually establish a community claims database to identify if anyone wanted to claim a UUID plot for their mod, perhaps poke around the Overhaul Mods available here on Steam for Space Engineers.

I believe it's not really a bug. but a conflict.
Using the tiered tech blocks mod, all O2/H2 generators (2 , 4, 8x) are at vanilla output values.
Is there a way to turn off the performance of parameters in this type of block?

Cannot re-open any worlds with this mod installed.
I started a new world with no mods except Rich HUD Master and Configurable Parameters. I did not change any of the settings in Configurable Parameters in-game. I left the game. I tried to open the game again. After the loading screen, i was kicked back to the main menu with the error message:

"ERROR
There was an error while loading this world!
Check the log for more information."
