is there a hint for the combo to disable the beta area stations? ive tried multiple variations and every one of them failed

Is the ancient drone fleet suppose to be incredible difficult?, i have a 300k fleet and it gets complete destroyed in like 1 sec with these 15 ships

Eventually yes but i had to open the mod files and search through them to find out what it was.

I'm stumped at how to progress the Vortical Fairy event chain - I've gotten to the point of buidling Dimensional Measuring Ships, but they get insta-gibbed by the Ancient Titans without getting a chance to measure any dimensions.

Also, what leads to unlocking the Tactical Support ships? I got them in a previous attempted game, but I haven't seen any sign of the tech this time around.

Same thing. I tried many attempts: find rgb colors for primary value of every 4 ancient titans (in any rgb editor), summarized their symbols with test option. Nothing works!
Searched in mod files for this and i think (i am not a programmer) there is some incomplete code in country_event = {

Measuring ship should be in fleet which win ancient titan. After win once every titan, in log will be symbols and eigenvalues for measured titans. And those measuring ships need for another areas events.

In retrospect that I should be collecting data from winning is obvious, I shouldnt be trying to solve puzzles at 4 in the morning. Now I'm still stumped though - I have symbols and Eigenvalues, but I have no idea how to turn these into colors or numbers.

So I've managed to get past things like Starfish ships attack or the Ancient Titan capture (I can even make my own Starfish ships). My actual Situation is the Theta area, where I'm supposed to check the four ancient sites. I finished all four many years ago (without gaining anything truly useful), but the Archaelogy on the Theta ringworld won't move on. Overall, I'm gaining no further Ancient findings and nothing is happening.
Judging from the mod pictures and descriptions, there's supposed to be much more content so I'm sure I didn't get all that far.
Can you please tell me if I should just wait for something to pop up or maybe use some ancient knowledge to research something? I don't mind some spoilers!

After finding that site and completing the special project that will appear after surveying the ringworld segment ( and I think also building the research station above it, but I am not sure about it ) you will get a new research option ‘Ancient Shield Analysis’, with the mean time being 12 month. After finishing that research option you will get another one, which is called ‘Warp Shield Theory’ with the mean time of showing up being 16 month. This technology requires you to have a primitive world with the ancient shield around it. If you managed to get to the Theta station in the first place then such a world should also be already inside your territory, seeing how it will orbit one of the primitive worlds that you had to study in order to get those coordinates.

After getting that tech you will get a special project to unlock the ancient shield around that primitive moon, which after completion removes the shield and starts the ‘Iced City’ dig site. Completion of that site gives you a damaged ancient starfish prototype ship, which is somewhat op and can be restored with the mod included ‘super special project’ ( or however it is called ). This also starts the ‘Starfish Fleet invasion’ within 60 days ( I think ). Multiple fleets of those ancient starfish ships will show up and you better be prepared to destroy them. Doing so will give you debris which after studying gives you a research option onto the op battle auras of those ships.

After destroying the last of those fleets on a yearly pulse you will get a special project to unlock ancient shield in Theta Area when all Starfish's fleets are destroyed. This project will unlock the ancient ringworld segment for colonisation, which is something that you should do. After colonisation you should get the option to find the other ancient systems by the ‘super special project’, with the found systems being random ( ps beware of colonising beta and gamma areas ! ). As a side note, in case of the ones that use science ships the level of the scientist involved really does matter. With a level 10 scientist you will finish those projects rather fast. A lvl 1 scientist will probably never be able to get it done, given the slow progress and losses in it after each 6 rolls.

Here is where the fun really kicks in. To get this short, you can get construction around the found ringworlds after some time. In the case of the theta area it is within the mean time of 3 years. However this option will only become possible after finding some ancient blueprints. For instance, by finding the delta area and completing at least some of the events there. Tbh. This is a bit long so I will stop it here. In the future I might write a complete tutorial for this mod, but this is not this day.
Hey there! Can you please tell me how to research the Theta "super special project"? I can't get past this for some reason even after digging up the four ancient sites inside the colonized Theta ringworld.

Hey is their anywhere in the game files or a dump.sav file you can find the "codes for the ETA system event? its driving me nuts and I would just like to be able to run through the rest of that event chain.

Do Machine empires lose out on any events, or do biological empires get any extra paths if they go a certain ascension path?

So far, I have 9 "Ancient Coordinates" planets: Cknoor, Kunides, Ocheron, Delta, Theta, Iota, Eta, Epsilon, Gamma - 1 non-ancient system with an Ancient Habitat.

Three had colonizable planets, two of which had primitive species already Starfish
Observation station was required for some period. Messages about the primitives & leftover ancient tech. Then invasion was required to do [decision] button Archaeology. Which sometimes led to digs appearing.

Ships/Weapons: You encounter tough ships in various scenarios. After a few encounters you learn some tech to defeat them. During some time period after that you receive several messages about that ship type and ongoing research (often automatic without you beginning the research) When finalized you get a 10% completed ship frame-design, which you research in the old fashioned vanilla Stellaris way. Typically ships are built as megastructures, but only within Ancient systems with a ringworld & 'construction station(s)'. Often you can only build ONE ship of each type. I have not yet found any way to actually put gravity-based-weapons onto my own ship designs. Nor can I edit the designs of the gravity-weapon using ships I CAN build.
"Enhanced battleship frame, Titan Frame, Cruiser fixed spinal bow"
These are ONLY modifications to vanilla cruiser, battleship, titan. They add extra BOW sections, but do not increase base hull points.


Colonizing: Many systems have ancient ringworlds. Some of these have colonizable segments, however often they have shields covering them. Then you have to wait a bit or solve some science-ship research or archeology to remove the shield. Usually, to progress and find/trigger additional Ancient Systems, you must colonize and do [decision] button Archaeology on that segment, sometimes clearing blockers also reveals other secrets.

Epsilon clues:
Archeology: Document the numbers you get from Archeology: upper number and lower number.
You can also find those numbers - in the text description (toot tip) of the 'Ancient Ruins' building(s) on each ringworld...once you upgrade them....eg: "Obtained upper characteristic:

Clearing some blockers equally important as doing [decision] Archaeology

Obelisk(s): Which obelisk is #1 or 2 or 3? When viewing the `Adjust Ancient Obelisk` control panel, to set the upper/lower numbers for an obelisk, on the left MIDDLE is a series of Chinese characters and regular numbers. These are identical for all 3 obelisks, except for ONE of the numbers. That number is either 1,2 or 3 identifying that obelisk.
In each obelisk, there is a GUI to adjust the "upper" and "lower" numbers. The left-most tick mark is the value ZERO. You will NEVER submit a pylon with ZERO setting.

Gamma Area: Ancient Empire (AE)...Others suggest "...don't colonize Gamma, if you do an event like Contingency occurs." In my case I could not find any additional AE systems until after I did colonize it. Bad things happened as they said...but slowly. There IS a crisis in Gamma. Crisis: It is a pretty BIG crisis. I had difficulty set on Maximum for AE. I was able to defeat the entire crisis with approximately 14,000 naval capacity fleet, losing 2000 worth of ships. I replayed that crisis without instantly attacking and like other ships/crises in AE there are a series of science researches to give you better odds against the crisis.

FP vs Naval Capacity Size: A corvette is ship size 1 in a fleet and a titan is size 16. Add all these sizes together and you get Naval capacity, as opposed to Fleet Power, a number showing supposed strength of a fleet of ships. But in the end game many ships end up calculated as fleet(ship) power ONE '1', because of overflow. That is why I use the Naval Capacity number, as many of my individual ships show power '1'.
