How to build Ancient Escort and Ancient Battlecruisers?
I already have the relic and construction sections but I can only build ancient titan and ancient turret... pls halp

@Siatru You need to activate the relic, then you could use construction ship (they are megastructures here) or use construction sections' shipyards to build them, use construction ship or construction sections‘ shipyards depends on your mod setting.

Yeah I had it set to shipyards. But it won't let me build them from the construction section shipyards.

I tried switching it to megastructures and it's the only way that works. Before I can build ancient turrets from them but now it's just megastructures that work.

Also, is it possible to build construction sections ourselves?

Where is those construction section and relic? i played 400 years and have Teta Area, wanderer ship from pylons, some techs from this mod but can't build anything because need construction sections...

Hm, I think that I can help you all here by writing a short guide to some of the stuff from this mod post finding the Theta area. Spoilers for this mod ect:

After finding that site and completing the special project that will appear after surveying the ringworld segment ( and I think also building the research station above it, but I am not sure about it ) you will get a new research option ‘Ancient Shield Analysis’, with the mean time being 12 month. After finishing that research option you will get another one, which is called ‘Warp Shield Theory’ with the mean time of showing up being 16 month. This technology requires you to have a primitive world with the ancient shield around it. If you managed to get to the Theta station in the first place then such a world should also be already inside your territory, seeing how it will orbit one of the primitive worlds that you had to study in order to get those coordinates.

After getting that tech you will get a special project to unlock the ancient shield around that primitive moon, which after completion removes the shield and starts the ‘Iced City’ dig site. Completion of that site gives you a damaged ancient starfish prototype ship, which is somewhat op and can be restored with the mod included ‘super special project’ ( or however it is called ). This also starts the ‘Starfish Fleet invasion’ within 60 days ( I think ). Multiple fleets of those ancient starfish ships will show up and you better be prepared to destroy them. Doing so will give you debris which after studying gives you a research option onto the op battle auras of those ships.

After destroying the last of those fleets on a yearly pulse you will get a special project to unlock ancient shield in Theta Area when all Starfish's fleets are destroyed. This project will unlock the ancient ringworld segment for colonisation, which is something that you should do. After colonisation you should get the option to find the other ancient systems by the ‘super special project’, with the found systems being random ( ps beware of colonising beta and gamma areas ! ). As a side note, in case of the ones that use science ships the level of the scientist involved really does matter. With a level 10 scientist you will finish those projects rather fast. A lvl 1 scientist will probably never be able to get it done, given the slow progress and losses in it after each 6 rolls.

Here is where the fun really kicks in. To get this short, you can get construction around the found ringworlds after some time. In the case of the theta area it is within the mean time of 3 years. However this option will only become possible after finding some ancient blueprints. For instance, by finding the delta area and completing at least some of the events there. Tbh. This is a bit long so I will stop it here. In the future I might write a complete tutorial for this mod, but this is not this day.

@Siatru @Lex If you choose to use megastructure to build at game start(or you changed it later), you will need to use construction ship to build megastructure on those construction sections, otherwise you could use construction sections' shipyard to build ancient ships, ancient titans or larger ship will always need to use construction ship to build megastructure on construction section.
@wojnatotalna1 Thanks for the guide, by the way, after completing the archaeological work of the Iced City, player needs to build a research station on this planet to start the countdown of Starfish Fleet invasion, if you are unprepared, you could build it later.

@Siatru, @author Thanks. Then why need repeatable techs with +1% chance to gravity theory and +50% power to gravity weapons, if i haven't those techs? I play with many mods and i tired to wait all processes with this mod, all too long to research by lvl 11 researchers.

Hi, just wnated to share my experience on this mod.

First, it is a very fleshed out one, very nicely done, lots of story, systems, digsites, interactions...

But, I've find myself very lost by the profusion of things to do, and the very odd way to deal with it. At the beginning we have some system discovery with some digsite and interaction with primitives, very ok.

But when the research projects thing begins I was lost. I'm surely doing something wrong, but I don't understand this mechanic to have to launch the same special project (lower the shield, repair spaceship) over and over each month. Why not having a big fat special project who take a long time to finish instead? (Like ACOT precursor special projects)

Some of the techs we unlock are also very confusing IMHO, a bit hard to know what they are unlocking, why we have them...

So, in short, I think it's a very good mod, but a very confusing one.

Hello, i noticed an issue during the first ancient coordinate event. It requires you to select a covert infiltration option for your observation station on the first preserved area. however i am playing a determined exterminator and even after using a console command to force the (gene tailoring) tech to be learned, i still cannot use the proper observation option to trigger the next event.

@NYsoloAK You need to send armies to control the planet if you can't use observation action.

2 things

1) Is there supposed to be an event line for Delta? I had the one for Zeta, Theta, and Gamma.

2) Is Beta the last unlocked system or something? I unlocked the ones mentioned above but have no idea how to get Beta.

I found all (i think) areas. Spoilers! I should say, even on easy toggle of this mod, need >100k fleet power for first event (capture ship).
In order my appearance:
1. Theta Area (observatory). Colonizing give construction ring segments after some other sites open. On this segments build ancient ships like Titans. Opens other areas.
2. Zeta Area. Most dangerous. Defended by strong AI. After system capture, Shroud Invaders appears on random planets in whole galaxy, shoud be land citadels on every planet.
Get quasi negative mass and sentient metall resources techs after kill one of them.
3. Beta Area. Psi research. Colonisation segment. Adviced not colonise (psi plague on entire galaxy, can't stop it.)
4. Delta Area. Isolated from hyperlines. Turrets and Titan defends it.
5. Iota Area. Isolated. Like Curators anclave, if give them resources, they says about all areas. In good relations give resource Ancient Knowledge, for it can be researched new buildings and ships and more.
6. Gamma Area. Adviced not colonize. Broken Resource station. Like Contingency crisis.
