Any possible chance of adding a Sauron redemption arc after all the main features are implemented? While I know very much so that its not lore accurate one of the things I like about ck3 is the ability to make your own fun, plus the Saurman redemption arc thats included kinda inspired this post.

While I cant think of anything off the top of my head, this event would possibly begin, after/if Sauron finds the one ring. And then has to take steps to show sincerity and repentance.

A notable "event" in my mind, would be quieting the fires of mount doom, in exchange for short term major penalties, but would allow Mordor to change from a hellscape to more of a lush green realm, along with preventing future possibilities of the one ring being destroyed.

If you want some literary refrences, in the book LoTR Gandalf does state that even Sauron was not evil in the beginning, and in the Silmarilion, Melkore for a time even thought that he wanted to help the mortal races of middle earth achieve stability, after his first defeat, but reverted back to his old ways.

So there is some wiggle room for a redemption arc from Sauron, but he has a lot of penance to pay for the harm he caused. After all his fall came about because he wanted to help mortals achieve "order" and "security" coupled with a lust for power that he got from Morgoth.
